Done around 1995 with Prismacolor colored pencils and some white acrylic paint on ~19.7in x ~12.8in ( 50cm x 32.5cm ) roughly textured black drawing paper

The title is "Cosmic Intelligence's Ethereal Playground" . I include it here because it exceeds the ( too small ) character count limit.

I like the glow of your work. REading your reply, I guess it could be due in part to the lighting, but I say it does look nice!

Thanks again. :aww: Actually, the works displayed now are the original TIFFs with color correction applied to them -- that comment a made in May is out-of-date and kind of misleading. :blushes:

The only thing further that might need to be done is to re-apply the color correction after color calibrating my monitor, although the difference would be very minor -- the pics displayed now are very close to the originals. :) ( displayed in any light -- it was the extremely bright blue-shifted white light from the scanner that reduced the contrast and washed out the first images I uploaded. The images displayed now are new, from the original TIFFs )

Thanks. :) Sorry for the poor image quality; these pics aren't from the original tiffs produced by the scanner so I can't really apply color correction. I had these scanned by a professional fine art imaging service on a large format Cruse scanner. The problem is that when I drew these I was working under incandescent light and diffused sunlight whereas the scanner used a fluorescent light which skewed all the colors producing a generally washed-out look and reduction in contrast with the black regions now having dark shades of grey instead of black.

Anyway, once I hunt down the original tiffs I'll update the images with color corrected versions.

Regards,

Jonathan
